Thanks fellas......that is turned from an apple tree limb ......that washed look comes from the sap wood turned until the hard wood shows through some.....I have turned 3 calls from it like this so far and it is nice to turn.

Here is another pic from my new photo tent from Harbor Freight....I just brought it home for $25 two lights a stand for my camera the tent and a nylon carry case....I like it so far. :yoyo: :yoyo:

Pics look good Al. I like the looks of the wood too. I woulda thought apple was straight grained.

Thanks Glen.......It was a limb not much larger than the call in Dia. so I guess that has something to do with it.
