I went out to do chores just now as the wife and boys are at a Blue Berry festival in her home town[MIL lives their so I ain't there]. I had to pick the eggs and isn't there the first little pullet egg of the year and don't some low life, scum sucking idiot drop it :doh2:. Dang thing wasn't worth any money but it bothers me more than busting a $5,000 part on my rigs :shrug:.

A young hen is a pullet. I assume he's talking about the first egg this pullet has given him.

First egg any of this years pullets have laid. I'm figuring by the pound that dang thing cost me $1,000/lb :puke:.

Sure didn't Jerry :doh2: It got put in a spot of reverance :wink: and well hid too ;yes;. Kinda funny I got home from Edmonton this evening[Got a Bike] and an old hen is laying there dead on the ground. Guess she knew her usefulness was about used up. :shrug:
