gotta recipe for speggetti sauce?  I was thinking about doing a garden next year.  I do not like eating cooked tomatoes by themselfs but love speggetti sauce on a lot of different stuff.  I was plannin on planting some peppers tomatoes potatoes and that was it.  as much as I love a fresh mater samich with mayo and cheese I can only eat so many till I get tired of em.  any help with what to turn fresh veggies into by cannin or freezing would be appreciated.

I've been travelling way too much since mid August and just noticed this thread.  Cathryn, your canned tomatoes look terrific!  I'll take Jim's share!

All I grew in my little garden this year was cherry tomatoes, 14 plants that got seven feet tall and spread out wide.  I love them and wanted to OD on them if possible.   Didn't succeed but sure ate a lot of tomatoes from early July till Nov. 1.  We picked a big bowl per day through most of August.

Cathryn,

I can already taste those things creamed over bisuits or cornbread! MMMMMMM! Even better when there is snow on the ground.
