Anyone ever see a wild boar in Ohio that was not in a fence? I found some scat and tracks near Piedmont. Never seen a live one outside a fence though. Somebody give me some hope!!
Huntinbull
There are some around Nelsonville Ohio.....The ones around Piedmont are probably ones that got loose from the fenced in Operation near there.......I forget the name of it.
Is it wild boar or ferral pigs
It has been said there were ferral pigs around alot of the state land/public hunting so any thing could be possible
They say boar got loose from the fenced in pay to hunt place...
Thats Very Possible
Bill mentions a beast on the lot next to him but he has never eluded to it being or not being a hog?
Their turning em loose up here too with hops of a season. :eyebrow:
We got some ferule hogs 20 miles south of me but they wont let us shoot em.....so they get poached anyway... :argh:
We do have a boar season in the southern part of the state.....4 counties.

What are you? Nucking futs?
You guys need to talk to some Texans & ask 'em about hogs. They have no season, no limits, & you can just leave 'em lay!
They're just tickled pink they got 'em. :iroll:
Some of them Texans down there like em,,
they get suckers like me to go down
there and pay to shoot em. It is
a lot of fun.
But I agree, if anybody's releasing them on
purpose, they're gonna regret it.
