He will only succeed on a mental level if it is allowed to happen. Therefore my remembrances of Sept11,2001 will,,  & can never be,, tarnished. It was a slap in every Americans face & those that don't view it as such are of no value to this Great Nation.

Once again this is merely MY opinion.

Deception in its many forms IRRITATES THE CRAP OUT OF ME!!! Why do people, and by people i generally mean politicians, feel the need to "spin" everything and to influence peoples outlooks. I believe that the events of 9-11-01 spoke for themselves. Not just the events of the terrorist attacks, but the events concerning our response to it as a country! I do not believe that patriotic feelings in this country were fading prior to that day. I DO think our EXPRESSION of our patriotic feelings had declined. In my opinion those terrible attacks reunited us as a country. It is much like siblings (at least me and mine) When my brother and I were younger we FOUGHT constantly, but should an outsider bother me there was no more loyal defender than my brother, and vice versa. The attacks made us all stand as brothers and sisters. It galvanized us into a patriotic response.

The fact that ANY political entity would want to lessen that bond or keep us from remembering that bond is nearly sacrilege. Why would any political entity (or party) want to put themselves in a position of saying "we should pay attention to something other than what is possibly our biggest strength as a country." To me that is stupid.

Of course I am a 37 year old who never went to college, works at menial labor, and avoids the newspaper. What do I know? (Anyone for a grain of salt?)
