Shade is hard to come by out here, and this guy is making the best of what little there is.  This is one of my favorite pictures.

I have several others taken later in the day.  He would get up and move as the sun got higher in the sky, he stayed there until late afternoon.

Love the pic but that could be cause I've had this hanging in one room or another for a long time.

Neat picture.  I am thinking that he is watching the sky and looking out for the hawks that might like a tasty meal.
