Went this evening to a few places I've been wanting to hunt. It has been drizzling all day and didn't have much hope for getting any coyotes to answer, but what the heck, sure can't do it from the couch.
I went to two places and didn't get any response.
The third place I went to, I parked, got out of the truck and blew a long drawn out howl. It wasn't but a few seconds and a group of them started up. Got my blood pumping. :yoyo:
Tried a couple more places, but that was it. Now all I need to do is get some permission to hunt the place and do some scouting. :innocentwhistle:

Setting here reading the board tonight and all of sudden it sounded like a pack of jackals was in the back yard fighting over territory.
Kyle came running down the steps, "what the heck IS THAT?"
They went on for over 5 minutes, yelping and screaming, and howling. :eyebrow:

Yeah, he's outside throwing last night's left over sirloins in the bushes and taking the screens off the back window, and I'm in here trying to get the 22-250 to stay propped up on top of the microwave with pizza boxes and beer cans.
