That's not me nor did I kill this one, but I did call it in for a good friend. Again using Lucky Bird. I never saw this guy come in and my buddy shot him. He said that he passed no more than 5 feet or so in front of me, dipped into a little dry wash and headed to the caller. Not a recent kill.

The very next day I took another friend into the same area, sat the caller in the same spot and this was the result:

That's some beautiful calling country John! It sure beats the visibility we have here in TN. Even though he got by ya!

Mannnnnnnnn, I dont know how you can see them coming in that terrain. :nono:
I need snow, guess I'm spoiled.
SNOW - damn I almost went into shock when I saw the picture of all the snow in Semp's post of backyard deer. I'd probably have to give up hunting if I had to put up with that stuff - well maybe not.
Helping a friend on last years elk hunt - cold, wet, tired and wanting to get back to the desert! And that ain't coffee in that cup.........

I love snow! :eyebrownod:
I like snow too, well I like to hunt in it for a day or two. Then I want it all gone!!!! Come back again in a few weeks, don't want to get burnt out on it. :eyebrownod:
