Title: Hey HuntnCarve
Post by: JohnP on September 15, 2009, 04:49:59 PM
How about next spring we get some friendly competition going between HH1 & HH2 versus RP1 (Rock Pile) & RP2.  Mr Champion told me he would sponsor this competition with a $5,000.00 payout to the winner and $2,500.00 to second place, seeing how you and I are the only ones in it we should make out ok.  It's going to be in all the national hunting mags and PM is also going to donate a free banner for advertisement.  We may even be selected to be on one or two of the large companies Pro Staff.   We may even get an invite to Columbus, OH all expensive paid.  I'm excited!

That "free" PM banner is worth $1,900 according to their website.   Heck of a deal!   :roflmao:

I can't wait to see who wins!    :corn:

John,

Sounds good to me!  In fact, I'm sure my website hosting company(Fins and Fur) would kick in another $10,000 prize money to cover our expenses.  What say you Mr. Jim?  Of course it will be required that we ship our game animals to Jim for verification.  It's the least we can do.  It sounds like a "win-win" situation for both of us!

Ms. HaMer is in a whole other league than John and I.  She already has chuck shooting videos out.  :congrats: Where as, John and I are just starting out.  We're just a couple of friendly, competitive guys, trying to make it big time on Jim's dollars!  Maybe once we hit it big time, Todd will allow us to be ProStaffers for him?

Got two this morning!  The sponsors are constantly calling, may have to get an unlisted number.  The toad is begging me to come back promised that I could get my own TV show and DVD series.  I'm thinking about moving out to Hollywood.

I may have to upgrade my weapon of choice.  Right now I am using a Daisy PowerLine, .117.  The first one at about 45 yards was a body shot, heart and Lung area but he made back into the rocks.  This one was a head shot and he died on the spot.  Can't find any CB's for the .22.

John,

Looks like you made it big time!  Soon FnF Hosting will be contacting you to sponsor your upcoming website in order to handle all the DVD sales.  He'll probably get you a commercial on Super Bowl Sunday (prime time) with all his connections?  Good luck, and good shooting!

He died darn near like that.  He was standing on his hind legs right next to the planter.  When I shot he fell into it and was draped over the side and into the pot, I just raised his front end up and draped him across it.

Funny you should say that.  When we first moved out here I use to shot them on a regular basis.  Then she started bitching about shooting them pretty little things and they aren't hurting anything.  So to keep piece in the family I stopped.  About two years later they started eating all her flowers, into her garden and into the attic.  Now all I hear from her is "get the rifle there is one in the rock garden."  I smile and say "you mean one of the pretty little things?"

Yes it is.  As long as I hit them in the head they fall right over, but with body shots they seem to have enough life left in them to make to their holes.  I know they are dead as I can smell the decomp in a day or two.  Just don't like the idea of them crawling off.
