We have been in drought conditions out here for a little better than five years. It's so darn dry that this monsoon season the mountain side never got green. I been going through a lot of water just keeping the critters satisfied. This afternoon I was out hobbling around our property and sat my beer down on a rock and a couple of scaled quail wanted a drink. Times are tough when you have to fight the birds for a beer.

Just remember if you get them drunk you will have to bring them some coffee latter.
