One of the things they do, and I'm not sure if it is a requirement, but I think it is to get a "Chapter Farmer" degree, is to have a project. I haven't been involve with it for a few years, but it would be things like the market hogs, ham and bacon hogs, market steer, rabbits, chickens, etc.. I believe there are projects that just about kid could do even living in town. They have to keep accurate records and turn in a log of everything they had done.
