Hey guys,

Last year I hunted the Zaleski WMA near Nelsonville OH with some guys from PM who organized the hunt.  This area is only 45 - 50 minutes from my house.  I joined them again this year.  The hunt was scheduled for Saturday Jan. 23 and Sunday the 24th.  Coyotex and some of the other guys organized the hunt for this year.  They reserved a couple of nice cabins and some of them came in Friday and stayed over til Sunday. My schedule kept me from making it to Zaleski til Saturday evening. I didn't get to hunt with the guys on Saturday. I did stay over in the cabin with hopes of getting in some stands Sunday 1/24/10. Unfortunatly when I woke up Sunday morning it was to thunder and rain???

Here are some photos at the cabin taken on Saturday evening . . .

BamBamBam is the first guy on the left, then Adam, then Mike2, lennyzrx I think.  I hope I got those all correct??  These guys were going out to check a place where they had put out some hog bait.

Following are some photos of the inside of the cabin.  It was very nice with a fulll kitchen, living room with a satillite TV, three bedrooms, Bathroom, and a porch with a hot tub on it!!

Coyotex fixed four chickens in coffee cans with charcoal in them.  We had those for dinner on Saturday evening.  Coyotex is quite a cook and would be welcome on any hunt I'm on!  The other guys said the meal on Friday evening was just as good!

Here is coyotex on Sunday morning trying to get a shot at a crow in his pajamas??

Finally his son Adam made the shot and we had a hero picture . . .

I really enjoyed renewing my aquaintence with some of the guys I met at the Zaleski hunt last year. Also enjoyed talking to some of the new guys.

Thanks to coyotex and anyone else who helped organize this hunt!! I enjoyed sharing an evening and morning with some dedicated coyote hunters. Just wish the weather would have been better on Sunday!!

Glen,

I think coyotex arranged the cabins.  They were called "Settle Down Cabins" and they were at 21934 St. Rte 278 just a little ways from the public hunting area.

See you guys at LBL!!

Sounds like a good time.
That cabin looked like it had all the luxuries of home :yoyo:

By the way, who brought their daughters sleeping bag? :doh2:

Glen,

That would be nice.  The owners even told the guys that there was 80 acres behind the cabin that we were welcome to hunt on!  There were two cabins.  I stayed in the one that had three bedrooms.  I think the other one was smaller??
