Man these things are huge animals! What will a mature adult cow weigh? These are some very cool pictures Todd. I'm happy you got a round to sharing them with the month you took to think about it, grin :eyebrownod:

Many many years ago I shot my first moose and last I may add.  When I walked up to it I looked down at this hugh creature looked at my little Buck knife and thought to myself "My God what did I do!"  Moose meat is great I would rank it right behind elk which I think is the best.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs

:alscalls: :alscalls: You sure aren't the only one had that experience John.  You are one that learned from it though :biggrin:
I like both moose and elk but I'd say moose is consistently  better eating.  We usually shoot cows for eating but the young bull I got this year is awesome.  Cows can range from 600lb to well over a 1,000 lbs.
