To make a long story short, my sister lives several hundred miles away. She wanted to meet halfway this weekend with her husband, my brother, his wife, etc.
She wanted to spend the day antiquing, go out for supper and all of us stay in a hotel.

So we did.
Antiquing IS NOT my cup of tea, but I did see some really cool (to me anyway) stuff I have to share.

I couldnt get our mass uploader to take them all which would allow me thumbnails, so I put em on photobucket and therefore the pics are full size.
I have a butt load of pics to share so to keep the pages loading for you Flintstones, this will be like a 5 post deal with a few on each topic.

I have no idea what these are but figured someone here might as they were everywhere. (The chain thingys) The tag said grain drill bit link?

This was apparently an old coffee roaster. A lunchbox looking device with a rotating handle on the side.

A very vintage concrete form. All steel, can you imagine packing these around?

This was an old marine boat signal. Cool as hell. Inside it had a kerosene wick, and behind the glass dome was a steel door that opened and close by the little slide knob near the bottom which apparently flashed boats, and the glass bubble window protected the flame

Some sweet WWII military helmets. The radio in the upper left was a WWII aircraft radio.

A WWII para-scope

We had an old one with the chains but since the wheel packers no need for chains. You can still get them for around 6 bucks a set new.
