It was Very good..........

Here is Dave un hooking a small one......We let Many of them go and kept a few.......


We went to town for some supplies and I thought Barry would want to see these steps going up to someones house!!
and of course there are a LOT of signs.......


Then it was back to catching fish.....Lots of fish....   ( Brown trout )






Some of the Nicest fish of the week caught in the same hole.......rainbow and a Gold caught by old trout breath himself...


We had a GREAT time and good weather.......

The steps are something I just can't imagine, if I came home to them every night I'd move . Fishing looked like fun though

we had a good time and caught alot of trout, i even had a grand slam of trout fishing     i caught a brown, rainbow, brook and golden trout in the same day.   i also won big fish every day   Al is in his 2nd year of apprenticeship so i didnt expect him to even be close to me, he will tell you who the master is if he wont tell then i will

WOW, that looks like it was a fun day!  Beautiful looking water  behind Golfertrout in the pic w/the golden.  And if that plate of fish was streamside cuisine, I'm coming out there and finding you guys.

I came in second every day.........   But I cooked the fish and no one died.....

HaMer: All were stocked fish accept for the native brook as described. However some were caught in a catch and release section and have been there for a long time hence the nice colors. Golds are very hard to get most of the time as they seem to see very well.

I rolled the fish in flour........then in beaten egg........then in ritz cracker crumbs.........Let em sit in the fridge for an hour then deep fried em........MMMMMMMM..........MMMMMMMMMMMMM!

Thanks for the invite, Golfertrout.
I had to go to a funeral out towards your area (I think) about 2 wks ago.  I don't think I was in WV, but drove s.w. from Harrisburg,PA,  through MD and then up to Hopwood, PA (Uniontown area).  It was a 5 hr drive from the Phila. suburbs, but beautiful area out there once you get into the Appalacien area (anything is beautiful, though, travelling away from Phila).

Those are terrific photos!  Very nice trout, big ones, and I can't believe that golden trout.  I've never seen anything like that. Very impressive.
