My new Larry Gresser long box turkey call.

I finally got my new custom long box call made for me by Larry Gresser today...mahogany body and black walnut paddle and bottom...gorgeous call...im almost skeert to take it out in the woods...I also got a dvd of Larry working his calls and a nice bag for the call and even a chalk stick!...his service was first rate..and hes an awful nice fella...I have barely started working with the call and so far it sounds incredible...cant wait to get it out of the house so I can really play around with it and see what it will say ...Ill pop in some pix when I get a chance.

Larry is one of the finest call makers, and one of the finest gentlemen you will ever meet in call making.   His calls are in high demand, and you definitely get what you pay for and then some.    He is also one of the most giving call makers out there, always wiling to help a new call maker, and spends a lot of time as a moderator on the THO Game Calls Forums doing just that.  You'll be hard pressed to find a better turkey call, or any call he makes for that matter, or deal with a nicer guy.

Not sure what your call looks like but judging from the calls on his site I'm sure its beautiful! I believe I will be ordering one soon.

Yowza, I watched the dvd of Larry playing his calls and man hes a virtuoso on any turkey call...that fella can talk turkey...I liked mine so much I have a rosewood copper pot heading my way now too, heres a few pix, the wingbone call in the pic was given to me by Bluemtnchuck:

Id give him a call or email and ask him if he could send you his dvd playing his calls....I know one of these days I am going to own one of his trumpet calls ...I was real impressed by his work and reputation...but when I heard him on his dvd I thought man I need some serious calling practice...I was closing my eyes and listening to him and mostly could not tell the difference between him and a real turkey ...I like the wingbone, takes a little learning but sounds awesome and is kinda old school and I like that.
