My son and I took the canoe to one of the local lakes that my wife and I sometimes fish. The fish were not very active, but as we were working our way back to take the canoe out and head home my son caught this guy:

Five pounds six ounces...

...and about 22 1/4 inches

He was pretty stoked. My family and I are having a pretty good fishing year so far. I hope it keeps up.

I hope Jim doesn't see this, you will have another son.  Tell your "real" son that he caught a great fish.

Now that is a nice fish. The size of the smile goes well with the size of the fish
Don't bring shame to our sport.

He died for dipshits too.
