Here are some pictures of Vancouver.  It was the last stop at the end of my trip to Alaska.  It impressed me as a very nice city.  Lots of activity from the bicyclists, joggers, in-line skaters, etc.  Stanley Park was especially nice.

Thats some interesting stuff.
All those huge buildings look eerie next to that water. I guess I'm used to seeing cabins and cabins on stilts.

Semp, great pics!  Glad you enjoyed Hongcouver.  You probably got to see more of it since we didn't meet!     It is one of the prettiest cities in the world along the waterfront with the snow mountains rising behind salt water inlet.  In winter, with a pair of binoculars you can see people skiing on the slopes above North Vancouver while you are in flannel shirt weather along the waterfront.

I did remember seeing quite a few Asians there.     Vancouver is also called Hollywood North for its film industry.   I suspect that Lions Gate Films is named after the Lions Gate bridge too.
