Piece of Pine...... Stuck in a Piece of Apple......

One piece of pine......... One piece of Apple...... Nothing has been cut and glued.
One end is 3/4"X1/2"  the other end is  1"X1/2"  the shaft of the arrow is 1/2" and the hole is 1/2"

Those fancy ink marks ? is grease from some local guys trying to figure out how in the heck I done it...... :laf: :laf:  When I wiped it off for the pics the grease had stayed in the grooves..... :hahaha: :hahaha:

Oh and ........ I can take it back out again if I want too........  :eyebrownod:

Soak the arrow, or atleast the tip portion in water.  Line up the grain in a vise, and compress till it fits through the hole.  Then allow to dry.  The wood will resume a good portion of it's original shape.   :wink:

Boiling water works much faster.........  :wink:

I am doing a fancier one now through a glass bottle.......
