Hawgmaster and I went out locating tonight. We had made several stops with only one response when we decided to return to the place where the deer hunter was last weekend. We snuck in to a fenceline and just sat down. I called out once and immediately was returned by a large pack of yotes. It was only minutes before right there in the darkness I could see a coyote standing directly in front of me with out the red light on. I shot him once with my 870 BB loads and down he went. He was trying to get up and my shell was stuck inside of my chamber. I fumbled with it for several seconds before freeing it and put two more rounds in him to expire him. It was fast and exciting. We were not really ecpecting to shoot one, just had the shotgun along just in case.
