Yep, its that little storage shed I found in the Adirondacks while I was up there trapping. Yep, its just a storage shed. I was just researching some areas up there and stumbled upon this little tidbit.

A small storage shed with a concrete floor is located approximately 0.1 miles east of Hell Diver Pond. Dimensions: 15' x 15',
Date of construction unknown. The structure was originally used during the early years of road work in the unit to store oil,
grease, and other construction materials for the heavy equipment used to maintain the access roads. Current use is to
store signs and barriers, and other maintenance supplies and materials.

A bit disappointing to find that out...I'm still calling it an old trappers shack just to make myself feel better

Ya got me That description is the exact location of where the shed sits. They must want to keep their signs and other stuff warm I wonder if it has been updated to be used for more than just storage since that was paper was printed

They prolly heated the building to keep the oil warm enough to pour in the winter. Just my guess. Still a neat little place to find.

I tried that Jim, they have cardboard...or perhaps they were signs in front of them so you can't see inside.

Thats possible to Glen, I'm still calling it a trappers shack though
