This fine fellow decided to drop in on me while I was enjoying some hot coffee this morning. I haven't seen many gadwalls around here, but apparently they're here. Maybe by Sandy's doing maybe not. Pretty cool bird though for not having much in the way of color.

Yeah the coloring is quite a bit like a Grouse. Kinda cool.

Still would look good in the North Bay Trophey Room, maybe even mounted just like that?  :biggrin:

It actually went right to the freezer Todd. I'm still contemplating a trip to the taxidermist. I have a cool mount in mind, but I'd like one more bird, maybe two, to go with it. I didn't have any mounted last year and I need to make up for that. The North Bay Trophy Room needs some new additions :biggrin:
