New York Passes Ban on 8+ Round Magazines

Calling it the toughest gun control package in the country. New York has completely trashed the Second Amendment.

Among other things the new law:

Bans high cap magazines defined as any magazine that holds more than 7 rounds.  Any existing mags must be sold out of state within the next year.  Possession will result in fines and/or jail time.

Bans the sale of rifles with a pistol grip.

Requires registration of all grandfathered "assault" rifles.

Bans private sales of firearms without a background check through a FFL.

Requires mental health workers to report anyone they think might be a danger.   That person's weapons will be confiscated.

They are still trying to figure out new tax sources for the cattle cars and gas chambers next on their agenda.   :puke:

I hope the crime rate skyrockets, and it probably will. It will be a perfect example.
