well first coyote hunt ever today. im pretty clueless and hunting 100 acre plot. I tried an electronic caller (johnny stewart Predator 2) with last day of late season deer yesterday some fresh innards in the field. set up a blind on patch of woods(to my back) looking into fields. the fields are 50 yrds wide by about 500yds. Posted property on back side of the field but its all woods and brush.  confusing i know but the property is set up like a baseball diamond. home plate being parking and barn area, pitcher mound inner woods and out fields are the fields. again foul terriory is all posted.my plan is to call them over the hill and into the field while im sitting on the edge of the innear woods in a blind.  if this makes sense anyone have any ideas of how i should attack? caller in innear woods and set up down wind of that? or should i call into the field and wait on the wood line or get up on the ridge line and let them circle ? or take a lay prone in the field with looking down wind of the caller? i guess i always want to have full view of the down wind. well i guess i know why there were fresh tracks behind us when we were going to lunch. well im an obvious idiot and really thought they were going to go the way i wanted them to or really i was hoping to spot them crossing the field to get down wind. help please anyone.  also in this situation i know that they arent in the innear woods its a small patch probaly 50 yrd by 50 yd. or could they be and we spooked them? help please

anyone have good advice for a caller or callers!! i know i need hand callers but so many options  :rolleye:

Play the wind, If not you will be waisting your time.
Electronic or hand call, doesnt matter keep trying but have confidence in your call's (What may not sound good to you may be exactly what the yote's want)
I personally like prone for long shot's but it limits your field of fire, If one come's in hard left or right you prolly aint gonna get on it in time.
Dont over hunt your spot and dont throw all your calls at em at once, save a few for next time.

Good Luck! (It'll happen!)
