You can't learn to succeed until you learn to fail.

You can't understand courage, until you've had to face fear and deal with it.

You can't learn to stand up for yourself until you have no option of backing out.

You can't grow personally until you are forced to look in the mirror and admit who and what you really are at that time.

You can't cultivate a creative mind without real-world practice.

We all played organized sports, we all created our own games, we all learned how to deal with bullies, and we all learned how to show compassion (imagine THAT!) ... we learned how to win, lose, get angry, cry, fight, make things, destroy things, how powerful gravity was (lol), how skin can be scraped to the flesh, etc, etc .... and we did all this before we were 12.

I know 30+ year old's that haven't lived a life we did by age 10.....

The thing that eats at me the most is the removal of disappointment.
How long do ya think it'll be before the NFL goes with the "everyone's a winner" theme? I mean we dont want our children to be hindered with disappointment so we make them all winners in school, Prom King and Queen, sports, popularity, etc.
