I always enjoy rodeo and bull riding.  Glad to see it in your neck of the woods.

A Canadian Champion Bull Rider acquaintance of mine told me how to become a bull rider.

You fill your mouth with marbles and every day you take one out.  When you've lost all of your marbles you are a bull rider.

A mutual friend got us both on an elk hunt together, along with a trained chef.  No elk but great rodeo stories and mighty good food.  All except the evening I cooked supper.  They didn't let me cook again.

Was kinda brought up around rodeo when I was younger. Always enjoy the bull ridin too.
Sometime maybe I'll tell ya about my bull riding career,,,  it'll take about 4 1/2 seconds.

When the kids were all at home it seems we were on the road to a rodeo every weekend.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs

Dave

There are some great action shots in there.  I was looking hard at the one to be sure that was the cowboy upside down behind the bulls body that just chucked him.  All you see is legs and boots - I'm sure that one hurt after he came to the ground.

;yes; Your the first one to to comment on those Dave. I was beginning to wonder if they were too tough to distinguish, even though they stuck right out to me.
I set the camera with a quick shutter speed and to snap continuous pics until I let off the shutter button. So I ended up with 4 to 6 pics of the process of each cowboy getting bucked, and posted the best shots from each group.  It was actually kinda fun. :eyebrow:

Some great action pics alright but with this slow connection it locked up after it got into the riders.  Several of the ones I saw are dramatic.  Good camera work!

I was also going to comment on that last pic. Not the blonde, but the brunette.   :eyebrow:

Yeah you can probably tell I watched that one most of the afternoon. :eyebrow: :laf:
