Looks like we have a pretty diverse group on here, how about posting some pics of the country you trap.
Here are a couple of mine.

I don't have anything new, and they're all kinda close up. These are from last summer, but I'll be scouting some new stuff this spring.

They don't have to be new, just pics of the country you trap.

Brad those are some nice pics of some good looking cat country. If you don't mind me asking what state were those pics taken?

I guess that shows how observant I am, lol.

That's OK, catskinner, you're not the first my avatar has eluded. :eyebrownod:

I'm at the east end of the state. I've had some of these pics on this board before under a hunting or calling country thread. Some of the members may have seen some of these (I tried to pick some different ones). That's what I meant by new. Just typing faster than I was thinking.

They're perfect for showing the type of trapping country I like though. It is pretty good cat country as well.

Lots of nice coyotes in that country too.

Here are a couple more of mine.

Great country! A trappers heaven! I love the mountains. My parents live in SW Montana 450 miles from here in similar stuff.

I don't make it there enough, and when I do it's always hard to leave.

I knew an old guy some years back that lived in the Gardner area and trapped marten up toward the park. He told my partner and I exactly where he had about 100 traps cashed up there, mostly #1 Newhouse, but it was on that property that cult owned at the time. I wonder if those traps are still there.

Brad H

That would interesting to find out.
I've been on a few river rides south of Livingston maybe 20 years ago. We floated by a lot of that cult land. They sure own or owned an incredible amount of beautiful country.
