Saturday meal

After fishing today i fired up the spit and did alittle dutch oven cooking. Not the fish i had in mind but still good eatin. Boneless pork with bbq sauce home made biscuits and fried tatters.Guests are not allowed to view images in posts, please Register or Login

It took me a few minutes to figure it all out.  I can almost smell the BBQ pork.
What is that you used for housing the coals?

Cast iron brake drum of a dump truck it really hold the heat in.

Yes it is Jim they got burnt on the bottom alittle but were still  very good. Im going to try a over night fishing adventure and cook some fresh fish and fixins over the fire real soon..

gona have to gain some weight to start looking like me 

I just got told I was making 4 different cobblers for my birthday party on the 12th of July. I might have to put together a video of how to do it..

Love the braek drum for the fire pit. I have looked around for one but never could find one the size I want.

Man that would be awsome! I can hold my own cooking but baking is a differnt thing.
