So back in February of this year I was kicked out of my him that I lived in for 12 years so the landlord could move in someone else who could pay double my rent. Since then I've been bouncing from couch to couch trying to get my feet under me. Tired of bouncing I've decided to do something I've always wanted to do camp/survive away from people, modern conveniences (except toilet paper :laf: ).

I've hunted and fished and camped a lot but I know I'm still new enough to it that I should get some advice from veteran outdoors men

I hope you live in a warm climate. People dont last long outside up here with sub zero temps and 40 below windchills in the winter.

Very warm down here in south-eastern Kentucky, down right hot most of the year.

I would love to help you, but I haven't had any experience that comes close to living off the land.
