Mother nature really threw us for a loop there two weeks ago. It was mid 60's for a long time then we got 18" of snow. Then it stayed cold and now it seems to be equalizing.  I have had the boat out 4 times now.

Trip 1 to test the new side scan fish finder i got this past winter was a sucess with both the fishfinder wprking and catching fish. The girlfriend caught her first bass ever and i snagged a few myself.

Trip 2 was at raystown lake to look at some more stuff with the fishfinder. Put in and battled 2 ft waves for a few miles on raystown and then trailered to another spot. We didnt hardly fond anything on the first part except wind. The second part i tried an inlet found bait everywhere and some nice looking structure to fish in the coming season tried fishing but my trolling motor batt was done.

Trip 3 was tuesday and the water was high and muddy one small bass caught.

Trip 4 was yesterday. Same place as trips one and three. Fish were caught and looks like spring is finally here.

Hope you get out soon jim.

And we all know Jim loves wrapping his arms around a warm yak.

I might bust her out this weekend finally :waiting:
The river is still in a mild flood stage though, it's dropping fast which will (well, should) ruin fishing but. :sad3:

Maybe I'll just get it out and take a cruise without the poles.
BAhh! Like that would ever happen. :nono:
