That's how we rolled when we were that age!! I still run the riding mower barefoot.

Bare foot. We never went barefoot when I was a kid. Had way too many bullhead or goat stickers. Could not keep bike tires inflated without a tube of "Never Leak" in each tire. Had cousins visit, from Iowa and they ran out of the car without shoes, right into a huge patch of those stickers. So surprised that they sat down, which made the situation worse. I suppose I missed out on something by not being able to go barefoot.

Socks are put on before feet hit the floor.  Wife calls me a wuss cause she barefoots it everywhere.  No sense no feeling doesn't help the argument.
