Snowflakes mixed in our rain today.

I like this time of year, though not as much as spring or Fall!  Cold rain here with a soggy flake or gob of flakes falling amid the raindrops now and then.

Around noon I was out for a bit and could see snow falling on our nearby mountains with rain below about 500 feet elevation.  The patchy clouds show fresh snow above that, though the peaks are all hidden in cloud.  If the sun comes out it will make a good photo, but until then it is  grey on cloud blurred grey.

My wife has declined to the point that someone needs to be with her and I am the one, grateful to still have her.  Otherwise I'd be out in the snow wasting my life looking for lion tracks!  

You can tell by such posts that I'm starting to feel restless and house bound.

I hate weather like that. Cant do nothing in it, and if your forced to, your drenched, wind blown and miserable. The Walleyes love that stuff though
