 :shck: :shck: :shck: ..............................  :thumb2: :yahoo: ;yes;

That thing is sweet look'n RJ, better then I had pictured in my non-turkey hunt'n head. Bob's right though, not only will I need to know which way is up, I'll have to figure out how to use her so I can start practicing, and maybe by a blessing I'll be able to hunt with Brent sonner then later.

You guys just don't know how bad I want to hunt turkeys. I got the fever.  :sad3:

More then I expected RJ, way more, and can't wait to get her in my hands.

Thanks a million,
Todd

PS. Bob we have a few lost turkeys running artound up here that some how make it through the winters.

Dogwood Creek

You are very welcome Todd. I enjoyed making it for you. It is nice to do up boxes in the off season. More like fun and less like work. You won't have any trouble getting the hang of her. I took some Walnut and Sassy, cut out everything that didn't sound like a turkey, and added a pinch of sweet. She has a nice high tight rasp, and a whole bunch of come here big boy in her. She likes a light touch. Almost playes it's self. I hope you enjoy her for years to come buddy,R.J.

Ya know fellas I was thinking today, ya know this call was a direct credit to the "FNF Show Case". I knew RJ made box calls, but at the time I didn't know he was making these "Jaw Droppers".  I had been asking several call makers about box calls, when his "Show Case" debuted, and the rest is the above results.  :bowingsmilie:

I have four calls now as a result of the "Show Case", and talked two others that show cased, about calls to be made, and well there are others I'm looking forward to seeing in the "Show Case"

So Brent, Jim and you call makers that participate in the "Show Case"........... I thank you for the great idea and oppertunities that arise from it.  :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats:

Well thank you very much Todd. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all of you people that support the forum, and the craftsmen that post here. We owe all of you a hearty thank you, for your continued support. I think you were one of my first  customers after going the forum route. It is my pleasure to make and offer these calls to all the enthusiastic collectors and hunters that I now count as friends. This showcase is one of the best ideas I have seen come along in a long time. :yoyo:  Thanks fellas for putting it all together,R.J.

Guys, I haft to say this but the call makers and builders have made the show case what it is! Along with good members to help support it! You all deserve the thanks!

And Todd, there is ALWAYS Bud Light at my house! :eyebrownod: :eyebrownod: I will see you in the spring!

I got her today RJ. Man is she a beaut!!!!!!!!!!  :bowingsmilie: :bowingsmilie: :bowingsmilie:

I was already excited to open the box when I got it, but when I picked up the bubble wrapped call it made a couple sounds, and then I was really excited.

I have no idea what I'm doing but I drove the wife nuts for an hour, playing with it.  :innocentwhistle:

Thanks again, and when I figure it out I'll let ya know.

Todd,

You must be working it right.  I saw a flock of Turkey with little signs that said "Alaska or Bust".

Fantastic buddy! I am sure glad you like her. I have a very forgiving wife. How do you suppose it sounds around here with the tuning of both predator and turkey calls? The truth be known, I have an out building for tuning, and a shop for building them. It didn't take but a couple years for sweetie pie to get enough of the sounds of nature echoing through the house. :shck: I pity the first turkey you wield the box on. It is a dead cinch to come a runnin' in to the gun. That thing was almost too sweet to let go of. Enjoy her my friend and turkeys beware!
