I am thinking on trapping some this year and also might try my hand at calling in a few. I would like to know what would be a good cal besides a howler? Thanks Tom

Hey bud.....try any one of these guys closed reed distress calls. They all make good stuff.

Yep, any distress call will be what your looking for.

  Closed reed is good down south but they tend to freeze up when the temps drop.  Open reed calls offer more range of sounds and won't freeze. But, take a little more practice to master.
