Woohooooo, My buddy saved my arse. He actually went to apply for a duck blind at one of our local state parks and I neglected to do so yet another year. Anyway, even with his string of terrible luck he managed to get drawn out of 460 entries. We get the 40th slot out of 89 and have to devise a good layout out for a permanent blind that WILL take a tremendous beating from Lake Erie waters. Any of you guys have any layout plans or know of a good place to look.

Thanks,
Steve

If you seen some of the blinds I come across walking the Mississippi backwaters up here, you'd soon realize that these guys dont use plans  :laf:

I suggest you use a VW bug filled with concrete for an anchor, a discarded anchor chain from a cruise ship, and 2 large tractor tires to absorb the shock. Maybe next year you will have time to get the blind out there. :eyebrownod: RP
