I can't get over how nice their coats look being that far south. Were humping Canadas hind leg up here and most of our coyotes dont look as good as most of yours.

I believe it has a lot to do with the diet. Our landowners down here regularly feed them calves on a daily basis ... and then mark them out as a loss on taxes to get compensated.

Good theory, but I cant really buy that in it's entirety. I live in a farming community right along the Mississippi River up here and the cattle have the population out numbered better then 20 to 1.
It's beef, venison or starve.

What ever it is...it seems to be working though, because those yotes your posting do look good.

Oh I know that's not it entirely. Strange thing is ... Oklahoma is known for it's cats and yotes. I don't know why, but it is. We have some real good ones down here.
