Youth Hunt this weekend, not sure if who's got more aniticipation, my boys or myself

I'm reignin myself in purdy hard here!! I'm usually ready by the end of Februaury but decided to wait til the last minute to get ready. I'll spend a couple hrs Sunday loading the truck. I was actually doing good until I watched a big ol hen walk across the road while waiting for the rest of the crew to show up late for work again.

Since then I've just been buggin out!!

Glen, I've gone over the gear several times now. Have my 12 yr old ( nickname 2-shot ) practice shooting off my stix every other night, been driving everyone at work crazy walking around purring, clucking, etc etc....
This warm weathers got me more fired up than the Toms we're after !!!!

Im itchin to get out and get a good tom but alas WV dont open till the 28th been seeing some real nice ones so far but I bet ya by the time season kicks off they will have hightailed it out of the country

I here that my birds have been struttin all over the place and I got to wait till the 28th.

Easter was early, why cant we hunt yet?!

I sure hope your boy connects on a nice Tom this year!! Heck I hope he shows you up!!

When I put everything away last year I did it in a manner that will require about 20 minutes to have everything loaded the night before.

I'm ready alright!! I just don't have the truck loaded yet.

Do you have your Therma Cell ready to go??

I've got some roosted in the neighbors back yard. I can't wait for season to open

And here's one flying into the roost.

I just may have to send one to the taxidermist when season opens. :shck:

Yeah, really. WV keeps moving the season back. I hear next year they're gonna wait til June to have it.
