thanks FnF, i love the trout but for hard core brute fishing you cant beat a smallmouth on the fly rod...im headin north for vacation this friday, turkey season, and in the afternoons im gunna be chasin some smallmouths with the fly rod.

Are you using 80 pound braided line too?........... ...im not a flyrod snob, i own a heavy duty bass rod...i use it with floating plugs when im jump shooting ducks....works awesome casting out and snagging the ducks then reeling them in
