A little Honey Barrel

This is a small piece of Osage, I sure wish I had more from this blank, most of it went into a long bow riser. I turned it on the end grain, and shined it up, then added a Reese Diamond Cutter Tone board, There are two translucent spots in the little call. It was the first one I had spun on the end grain that Osage is great fun.

That did indeed turn out VERY nice. I have a bit of it out in the garage, love putting the torch to it

The third picture really shows off the grain in that wood. It almost looks like lace or something. What a pretty call.

That's the nicest piece of Osage I've seen. Turned out very nice.

That is a great looking call. Maybe the best mock orange I;ve seen. Make more.
