I have a website and all that. But this is the fist time i have gone on a forum and actually placed a call for sale. I just finished this duck call today and think its a good'un. The barrel is honey locust ( a first for me, but not the last). The band is brass and the insert is made from Bahama cherry. The fit is an "o" ring design and the sound is really, really good. $85 with money back guarantee if you dont like it.

Very nice lookin call !   :highclap:
I like both woods, the locust has some cool coloration
to it, and that cherry is a killer red.   Good job.

Very nice work sir. Absolutely beautiful!. :yoyo:

You may find it a little tough to get duck call prices outta these guys. Not saying were all cheap skates, but duck calls seem to be priced from a whole different realm. I've never understood it myself. You can take, literally the best of the best makers from both worlds (predator and duck) and have them carve exact replica calls.
The duck would be priced significantly higher then the predator call.

Switch the title on the calls, call the predator call a duck call and vice versa....and the price tag would follow the title.

OK, I will retitle the post to say- For Sale
A predator call that sounds like a duck
:roflmao:

To be honest, I think that is one of the reasons I posted it HERE, instead of on a duck forum. Its a subconscience thing. If it doesnt sell, it will either be entered in a contest in Aug for the West Coast Duck Call Championship, or it will go on MY lanyard. And I know what you are saying about the differences in calls. I think these guys here make some beautiful calls that are worth more than they are getting for them. I saw some pics and my jaw dropped when I saw the maker was only asking $23. I have paid $150 for a trumpet call for turkeys.
I had a guy walk into my booth during a turkey show. He looked over my short boxes and asked what the prices were on them. I told him $70 and he then had the nerve to tell me I was way UNDERPRICED :holdon: I said that that obviously wasnt the case or I would have sold ALL of my calls the first day

Looking around your site Lee, they are all awesome pieces of work.

Who built your website? Looks like they used OSCommerce for the whole site.
Not criticizing....just commenting. I wasn't aware of OSC's content management software. I built the FnF Store with OSC.

Jim,
A somewhat friend of mine out in Arkansas built it for me. Not the best in the world and getting him to do updates has been like getting rain in GA lately :eyebrownod:
He and I have actually ben discussing revamping the site so that I can do the work. Right now they way it is done, only he can do any work to it. I have some great testimonials that I want to put on there, but he has yet to give me the page to do it. He is also doing the hosting. And to be honest, I cant complain to awful much, considering what I paid for it.

Looks alright from here.   I was just curious as to whether or not the whole thing was built with OSC.
