i have a bunch of new legholds that i have cleaned and am trying to get a little rusted so i can dye and wax them. problem im having is they wont rust! i have them hanging and spray them down with water a few times a day.
im thinking of mixing a few pounds of salt in a few gallons of water and soaking the traps for a few days to speed up the process. what do you guys think?

yep you can spray them with vinegar too. its early yet (unless your doing bounty work) they will rust and once they start it will go fast.
