migrators already !!

2 flocks of migrating canadas came over today while I was on lunch, over 100 birds each flock.  Seems a week or two early    This big cold snap must have their clock tickin.

We aren't on the migration path, even though it is relatively close.  The best that we can do around here are usually 25 to 75 on most farm ponds.  I have gone up to Jack Miner's bird sanctuary in Canada and watched a few thousand at a time.  Quite a sight.
