I have four Kahles Helia scopes. Two are with illuminated reticles.
Optically they're on par (to my eyes) with the Swarovski PH line of scopes, and not too far behind the S&B. The only draw backs (aside from $$) IMHO is that they're considerably bulky and weigh more than the Leupold scopes I mainly use on my hunting rigs. The illuminated reticles Helia CBX & CSX scopes I have are specialized in that I have regulated them exclusively to hunting the night shift for both predators and feral hogs.

For hunting after sun down, I much prefer the Euro optics as the optical clarity and resolution is not only readily perceivable, but the rheostat used on the illuminated reticles are superior to all the other US scopes I've tried. With the S&B and Kahles I can adjust the brightness of the lighted reticle so that I do not adversely affect my night vision. The Leupold and Burris illuminated reticle scopes I've previously experimented with only had two settings..... and the lowest setting was still too bright and momentarily robbed one of their night vision.

I have a Kahles on my 25-06 for Deer Hunting, The Optics are very clear, very good at first light and at dusk, They are a little expensive but with all the effort in a Hunt and only get a shot at low light makes them worth the money. cc

I have a Kahles on a 270 for deer hunting. It is the ticket in low light conditions. Mine is an old one , Jackie bushman got it for me about the time he started up Buckmasters.
