As much as I didn't want to - I had to hunt from a shore blind today since all of my hunting buddies had to work - No layout boat until Thursday. I'll be back in the shore blind again tomorrow to bag my limit on bluebills again (The limit is only one :rolleye:)

I did manage to bag a goose and green wing teal today along with my bluebill. I had to pass on a numerous birds zipping through my spread. If I had somebody to hunt with they would have certainly had some shooting too. Gotta go check the weather / wind conditions and prep for tomorrow.

Nope, I didn't get around to taking any pics Jim...so sorry, I really should have taken one of that Green Wing Teal...I guess I just figured he will be going to join the Drake bufflehead at the taxidermist. Now as long as my wife doesn't catch wind of my taxidermist bill I'll be alright :readthis: :shck:

I'll try to get some pics for you tomorrow  I'm holding out for a drake bluebill tomorrow :yoyo:

The last couple times I've been out has been solo.  Cant get nobody to hunt in this type of weather with me.  I dont mind just takes a little longer to set up the dekes.
Not sure if I'm field or river hunting in the morning.  I found a nice back wash pool below where I normally river hunt.  Might give it a go   I'll be out somewheres for sure :sneer:

Never got a gwt or buffie, they're on my list.  Still gotta get my drake saw bill and drake golden eye.

Come on up here Vic...you'll get that drake buffie fairly easy. I had a drake goldeneye come from behind me in shooting range, but I wasn't ready for him. As far as the GWT goes - they are usually gone by now. They are some of the first birds to migrate through. That was the first GWT for me.

I'm working on downloading some pics from todays hunt...stay tuned
