Okay one or two of them aren't really true ducks, but that is the only hint I am giving. Just some pics from the past few weeks of hunting.

This one is still alive to the best of my knowledge...I love the pic I just wish I had a bigger zoom on my camera...

is that a few  ruddy ducks on the boat pic ...... them buffel heads are some fun shooting  good pics ....had to be a good hunt or two  out there .......  great pic of the drake hooded  merganzer ...not real good table fare but sure makes a good mount
my goal: do as much as I can, as fast as I can, for as long as I can, and at the end of the day if I'm not satisfied I will be to wore out to care

Golden Eye and you have to rub it in   :nono:

edited to add I'm speaking of the bird in the middle of the 3rd pic

Mostly buffleheads and Bluebills with some geese, mallards, ringnecks, hooded mergansers, and yes a very nice drake goldeneye :yoyo: We're hunting mostly on lake erie waters in PA, and a couple of inland spots. We have also ventured up to NY a time ort two this season and plan to hunt/fish the Niagara for sea ducks and salmon a few days after Christmas when the season opens back up. The goldeneye and one of the hoodies are heading to the taxidermist along with a greenwing teal and bufflehead.

Thank's for showing them there duck's,  I don't get to see them all around here. :highclap:
I say what I think not think what I say.

I could have named em all  :eyebrow:  but he caught my eye  :innocentwhistle:

They're all awesome  :yoyo:   I havent been scouting since the orange army has been out, but after this weekend I'm going to be out and about.  I hope I can catch some late boys.

Still a ton of birds on the Delaware river in NY State.  Mostly greenheads and geese.
The geese are very small, mallards are about the same size as them.  Wondering if they're lessers ?

Steve, the second pic top duck, that a hen black ?  correct me if I'm wrong.  I confuse them with hen mallards, I'm still not sure the feather sequence....

Coulter

Vic...Nope thats a hen mallard. I don't recall the color sequence off the top of my head, but it was a mallard.

Thanks.  I remember years ago when black werent allowed, I was so scaret as a youth to kill one lol.
That made me shoot green only, which is a good thing.
This was "MY HOLE" when I was 16.......

That 20 guage pump, 4 dekes, and I used my mouth to call.  I swear we limited out nightly.  Least thats what I want to remember

Of course back then it was fill with water
