remade a dozen coon sets

 i had out and set 4 more.

its 58 degrees here today ans sposed to get to 30 tonight.

i didnt see any tracks where anything has been moving but i know there are coon there. myabe theyll wake up and run tonight.


wish me luck!

ili take the camera along on the check tomorrow just in case theyre on the move.

we got some more snow last night, about half an inch.

i checked traps ithis morning and didnt catch anything  :argh:

At least you can still run a line Cathryn...we have 3 1/2 feet of snow here. Our coon won't be seen again until April. Good luck with those sets.

we caught a possum yesterday which we decidde to turnloose cause Alexys didnt think it was big enough(it wasnt) to keep.

she told me "ill shoot the big ones but the babies we let go", lol

i did see a set of cat tracks bad thing is where they were it was hard to say if they were domestic or not.
i really think it was a bobcat cause they were alittle bigger than mine but i dont wanna catch the guys cat whos lettin me trap so i didnt set a trap for it.

it hurt not to because i could catch it easy cause i followed its tracks in the snow so i know just where its hunting. i didnt se any tracks hedin back towards his house but who knows,it mights walked the road to get there, so i had o pass.

i didnt wanna risk losing permission on thw whole farm over a 40 dollar at best cat.
