I had to make one for someone...so I figured, heck why not make five  Anyway I have four up for grabs $38 TYD includes striker. Left to right Birdseye Maple, Cocobolo, Purpleheart, and Osage orange. I will post individual pics w/ matching striker later today. I have to take my daughter to work and pick up my son now.

And here are the strikers... They are Coco, Osage, Purpleheart, Bloodwood, Zebrawood and Birdseye Maple. (If you only want a striker they are $12 tyd)

Not wanting to sound totally ignorant here but what kind of sounds do they make and can I speak up for the darkest colored one.  If Donny and I can have as much fun with ma with this one as we had with the box call it is a cheap price to pay. :wo:
I say what I think not think what I say.

Well they make mostly turkey sounds Barry :doh2: Sorry I couldn't resist...they all make the basic yelps, clucks, purrs and if your good and know how then they can do the kee-kee run too.

You want the Cocobolo...2nd from the left?

Here are the rest of the individual pics...

Purpleheart...

Birdseye...(this one was hard to photograph)

Bopeye could I get a hand here please.  Somebody needs a bite me   Yes Steve I'd like the whatever you called it wood.  We have no wild turkey's up here and I have a theory I want to test out.  I'm going to take both boy's out with a turkey call each and see if we can't get a coyote to come in even though they have never heard one.  It will also give the youngun's another story and if they ever do go turkey hunting at least they won't be as ignorant as their old man about what sounds they make.

Okee doke Barry...I'll get it in the mail to you. Sure takes a long time to get to your neck of the woods, but it will be on its way. By the way, I hear stories of guys calling in coyotes with turkey calls every spring. I think it's usually the young of the year that come to the call, but hey a coyote is a coyote. They ususally have decoys out as well, but I don't think that is completely necessary for your purposes.

Thanks Vic...

Actually my wife is very understanding about these things.  She understands that if she tell's me to take a hike that it can sometimes take a week to find my way back home. :innocentwhistle:

Those calls are beautiful....oddly enough I have noticed while looking around at various custom and mass manufactured calls....the price is pretty darned close between them and sometimes the store boughten calls are more expensive then the custom calls....theres no comparison in the looks I can see that.

That's so true. With that in mind, I rarely buy a store bought call anymore. If I don't make it, I buy it from a custom maker.

Those are some shweet lookin' calls.
