First I woul like to thank HaMeR for helping me get the ball rolling in this stuff. He provided me a comprehensive list of tools and materials to get get started as well as a tutorial in pen making and a list of websites to check out to learn different techniques and purchase tools/material. Thanks HaMeR... my wife would like to pommel you, LOL.

Here is a turkey pot in  Leopard wood. Needs another coat of poly, then I can start glueing in the glass and slate. Hopefully I will have it done by tomorrow eve so I can give it to my B-I-L for his B-day.

OK, it's done. Just waiting for the glue to cure on the slate.

Slate over glass, two strikers, Leopard wood with a hickory dowel, and Leopard wood with Purpleheart dowl
