The NRA would be better and more people would REJOIN if they would stop sending all that obnoxious mail!

I mean they must waste a ton of their income on sending out junk mail and it is a pain to get. And yes, I am a member.

I agree, most of the mailings the NRA send out are annoying. It is obviously a useful tool or they wouldn't keep doing it. Most of the guys I know, that wouldn't rejoin because of the mailings, wouldn't rejoin anyway. They just have to have something to gripe about.

Why does NRA send so much mail?
While NRA sends a good amount of mail, it's important to
realize that these mailings accomplish several things. Some of
the mailings raise needed monies for NRA, often vital to the
success of training, safety, and educational programs, as well as
important legislative programs and initiatives. They also serve
as a primary vehicle to disseminate current information and
important legislative issues. And finally, some mailings come
from our affiliated business partners, who dedicate a portion of
the proceeds and profits to
NRA when their services are
utilized.

I don't like all the mail either, but the NRA is still the most powerful entity available to help us keep our firearms rights.  Every shooter, hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, or just Freedom loving American should be a member!!

I am a Benefactor Life Member of the NRA.

I don't like all the mail either but it is easy to throw away. 

SOMEBODY has got to fight for our gun rights.  I don't see anyone else better equipped than the NRA.  So I'll keep getting their mail.

If you get a postage paid envelope......just send it all to the white house......they need paper for printing more money.

Thanks for the link, I was a member years ago but things happened and I let it expire.  I just signed back up, now I'll be a member of Ducks Unlimited and the NRA once again. 
Not sure if the club I belong too is still involved with the Federation of Sportsmen, I best get to some meetings and find out.
