A local store owner asked me if I would make him some plain....simple.....field grade calls to sell in his store...
So far this is what I am thinking....

Black walnut Howlers
I want to see if he likes em before I make a bunch of them.....

I think these should make him happy what do yall think?

I dont like the way the black tone boards contrast against the light colored wood. But field grade is field grade.
I'm sure he'll be happy.

Well normally I would buff the tone boards down to dull them up and smooth them out........ :wo:......I may do that later and see if that helps the look Jimbo.
